Introduction:
As a Marketo Specialist, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing marketing automation campaigns with a strong focus on Marketo and Salesforce CRM. Your primary responsibility will be to streamline marketing processes, maintain database hygiene, and deliver actionable insights through data analysis. Proficiency in Excel for data management and strong communication skills will be essential to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive marketing success.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy and Execution:
- Design, build, and execute automated marketing campaigns using Marketo integrated with Salesforce.
- Align campaign goals with sales and marketing objectives to maximize ROI.
Platform & Database Management:
- Maintain and optimize Marketo-Salesforce integrations for seamless data flow.
- Ensure database hygiene by managing lists, cleaning records, and running data validation checks.
- Use Excel proficiency to manage, analyze, and segment large data sets for targeted campaigns.
Lead Nurturing & Engagement:
- Build and optimize lead nurturing workflows, drip campaigns, and scoring models in Marketo.
- Drive adoption, retention, churn reduction, and engagement strategies through automation.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track campaign performance, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable insights.
- Recommend data-driven improvements to enhance campaign efficiency and conversion rates.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Partner with marketing, sales, and client teams to align automation strategies with business goals.
- Communicate technical details and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Testing & Compliance:
- Run A/B tests on subject lines, templates, workflows, and segmentation to improve outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other data privacy regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven 3+ hands-on experience with Marketo and Salesforce CRM.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data cleaning, reporting).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template customization (preferred).
- Marketo certification (preferred) or equivalent practical expertise.
- Familiarity with SEO and content marketing principles is a plus.
